According to Sky Germany, Bochum want to appoint Borussia Dortmund’s chief scout Markus Pilawa as sporting director.
This comes after Bochum announced that Sebastian Schindzielorz will leave his role at the end of the year.
Per the report, conversations have already taken place but VfL face competition from fellow Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.
Although a contract until the end of the year, Schindzielorz said that he will stay on until they’ve found a successor.
