At a press conference today, Daley Blind revealed his move to Bayern Munich was sorted out quickly.
32-year-old Daley Blind joined Bayern Munich on a free transfer two days ago, signing a contract until the end of the season.
At his official presentation today, the Dutch veteran explained how the move came about:
“[Julian] Nagelsmann is a great coach, I’m looking forward to learning from him.
“It all happened very quickly, but I spoke to him a few times and he was very happy. I don’t think there will be a language barrier here because everyone speaks English very well. I have already started learning German.”
Asked about his ambitions with Bayern, Blind responded:
“I have the same goals as the team: winning trophies. I want to help the team and contribute with my experience. Of course I want to play as much as possible, but I know my role and I’m just enjoying the moment. We’ll see what happens in the summer.”
