Speaking to Tobi Altschäffl of Bild, Bernd Leno’s agent, Joannis Koukoutrigas, confirms that Fulham are interested in signing the 30-year-old goalkeeper.
“He’s a German national goalkeeper, has always performed well at Arsenal and is an absolute team player. For me personally, Bernd is also the clear No. 1 at Arsenal, with all due respect to the competition,” said Koukoutrigas.
“Yes, Fulham is trying hard to get Bernd. Very professionally. This is also true for some other clubs and shows his status but as I said, for me he is the No. 1 at Arsenal and we are therefore also relaxed.”
Leno played just 360 minutes of Premier League football last season, conceding nine, and was displaced by Aaron Ramsdale. The 30-year-old also missed out on Hansi Flick’s Germany squad this time round.
Since his €25 million transfer from Bayer Leverkusen in 2018, Leno has played 125 games in all competitions.
