A bright prospect for Dortmund’s future is reportedly due in North Rhine Westphalia tomorrow for a medical. Germany’s main sporting tabloid reports that the BVB are preparing to shell out €9 million for Belgian teenage talent Julien Duranville of RSC Anderlecht. The youngster has already made six Jupiler Pro League appearances and is considered to be a player with a similar skill set to former Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
According to reports, Duranville will sign a new four-and-a-half-year deal with die Schwarzgelben after formalities are completed. Despite the fact that the 16-year-old has already scored his first professional goal for Anderlecht, it’s not very likely that he will be introduced to the Dortmund senior side immediately. Germany’s “Sport Bild” reports that Sebastian Kehl and the BVB administrative team outpaced several other clubs for the young talent.
