German football magazine Kicker has assessed the impact of last summer’s Bundesliga signings so far.
By giving all new players (provided they have played enough) a grade between 0 and 10, Kicker has placed Bayern Munich in 1st place with the highest average.
With Michael Olise rated a 9, Joao Palhinha a 7 and Hiroki Ito not rated due to injury, Bayern’s three new signings have an average of 8.
Freiburg are second (7.5), followed by RB Leipzig (7.25), Gladbach (7) and Eintracht Frankfurt (6.38).
At the other end of the table, Bochum have the lowest average of 3.44, with Ibrahima Sissoko (6) the only one of their 11 new signings to score above a 5.
Four players, all strikers, have been given a 10: Tim Kleindienst (Gladbach), Hugo Ekitiké (Eintracht Frankfurt), Mohamed Amoura (Wolfsburg) and Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund).
