Bayern München are looking to bring in a striker next summer at the latest, according to Kicker.
As reported by the German football magazine, the German champions have realized that they need to bring in a true No.9 as a late successor to Robert Lewandowski, who left Allianz Arena to join Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
However, despite a disappointing start to their Bundesliga campaign, Bayern are unlikely to make a move for a striker in January as things stand.
Harry Kane is once again mentioned as a candidate in the report. Bayern are already said to have made initial contact with the England international, who is out of contract in 2024.
Tottenham, however, would prefer to keep Kane and are keen to extend the 29-year-old’s contract.
