Sport1 reports that Bayern Munich are looking to strengthen up front this summer and could offload one of their stars in order to have more financial room to maneuver.

Bayern Munich are keen to sign a new striker this summer, according to a report from Sport1.

Although Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has impressed, the 34-year-old veteran can’t be expected to perform as well next season. Neither Sadio Mané nor Serge Gnabry are thriving in the No. 9 position, so Bayern are keen to bring in an alternative to Choupo-Moting.

Names on Bayern’s list reportedly include Harry Kane (Tottenham), Randal Kolo Muani (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Victor Osimhen (Napoli), but there has been no concrete move for any of them so far. Also, none of them are likely to come cheap.

It may even be necessary to sell one of the current stars in order to create the funds to sign a striker.

According to Sport1, Serge Gnabry is the most likely to leave, but nothing is set in stone as new coach Thomas Tuchel wants to take a look at the squad in the coming weeks.
