Manuel Neuer is in a race against time to be fit for Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga crunch clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday evening.
According to Kicker, the German champions will decide on Friday whether the 39-year-old goalkeeping veteran is fit enough to play.
Neuer returned to individual training earlier this week following a spell on the sidelines caused by a muscle fiber tear.
Jonas Urbig, who has started the last two games, is ready to step in again if needed, with Bayern cautious about taking any risks.
Bayern go into the game eight points clear of Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table.
