Former German youth international Adrian Fein’s footballing future might lie in Germany after all. Germany’s Sport1 reports that a move to America’s MLS has fallen through. The troubled player is, according to Sport1’s Kerry Hau, back training in Bavaria whilst the German champions attempt to figure out a “quick solution” to his predicament.
There may very well be a taker for Fein in German football, who has completed loan spells at SSV Jahn Regensburg, Dynamo Dresden, Hamburger SV, and SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The FCB cannot loan the one-time hotly traded prospect out for a sixth time as he is in the final year of his contract. If a sale cannot be organized, an outright release remains the most likely option.
