A number of players at Bayern Munich are out of contract at the end of the season, including German internationals Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka.
According to Kicker, Bayern have scheduled talks with both players in January.
Gnabry’s chances of securing a new deal appear significantly higher than those of Goretzka, with the 30-year-old attacking midfielder having been a key player for both Bayern and Germany this season.
Goretzka, meanwhile, has been in and out of the starting lineup more often.
While it seems more uncertain whether the 30-year-old will be offered a new deal – especially given competition in central midfield from Joshua Kimmich and younger talents Tom Bischof and Aleksandar Pavlovic – a final decision has yet to be made on his future.
