Bayern Munich have received a boost on the injury front ahead of their Champions League away clash with Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.
Both Manuel Neuer and Michael Olise took part in the German champions’ final training session on Monday ahead of the trip to the Spanish capital.
After returning from foot problems in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal nearly two weeks ago, Neuer missed the following three matches due to a setback.
Olise, meanwhile, was forced off towards the end of Bayern’s 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday and trained with his right knee bandaged on Monday.
Barring any further setbacks, both players now look likely to be included in the squad to face Atletico.
The game comes too soon for Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz, who were both limited to individual training on Monday. It was Diaz’s first session on the pitch since suffering a muscle injury.
Ismael Saibari and Serge Gnabry will also miss out after both picked up more serious injuries against Dortmund.
