Hasan Salihamidzic has confirmed that Bayern are planning to hold contract talks with in-form striker Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

Bayern München board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic has reiterated that the club would like to extend Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s expiring contract.
Having found the net in seven competitive games for Bayern, 33-year-old Choupo-Moting is on everyone’s lips at the moment, and Bayern are hoping to keep him beyond the end of the season.
“We’re happy he’s with us. Her has performed very well in the last few months. We will have talks when the time comes – as soon as possible. I don’t feel under any pressure. We are in contact, and Choupo is comfortable in Munich,” Salihamidzic told Sky Germany.
“He gives us something as a number nine. We would like to keep him. I have a good connection with his agent. We will meet and see if we can satisfy him.”
