According to a report from Sports BILD, Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently facing a bitter departure behind the scenes.
Sebastian Stein, head of the Hessen club’s scouting department, is on the verge of completing a move to the USA.
As the popular tabloid understands, the 43-year-old is expected to take over as chief scout at MLS club Sporting Kansas City.
For several years, Stein has been contributing to the successful work of Eintracht Frankfurt behind the scenes as a talent scout.
Having done such a good job, sporting director Markus Krösche even singled Stein out in particular for public praise.
Stein joined Eintracht from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 as coordinator of youth scouting before taking over as head of scouting in January 2023.
