Bayern Munich have parted ways with head of the science, performance diagnostics and fitness department Dr Holger Broich.
After 10 years at Bayern Munich, Dr Holger Broich is leaving the Bundesliga giants.
The Bavarians confirmed on Wednesday that they are parting ways with their head of science, performance diagnostics and fitness department.
“For 10 years, Holger Broich was part of the team behind the team that completed the most successful decade in FC Bayern’s history. He combines scientific knowledge with extensive professional experience at the highest level, from topics such as performance diagnostics to training management and youth development,” said FC Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl.
“Our decision is to be seen as an integral part of our fundamental reorganisation in the sporting area, and is expressly separate from the course of the past season. We would like to thank Holger Broich for an unprecedentedly successful time, to which he has made a major contribution, and wish him all the best for the future.”
Dr Holger Broich said:
“It has been a great pleasure and honour for me to have been a part of these incredibly successful last 10 years. I would like to express my sincere thanks for the many years of support, encouragement and trust that FC Bayern has placed in me and wish the club continued success.”
