Bayern Munich are reportedly eyeing a big move for Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton.
The 20-year-old landed an £18m move to Palace in the January transfer window after impressing with his performances for Blackburn Rovers.
He has hit the ground running at Selhurst Park as he has made 14 Premier League appearances, contributing three assists in the process.
The central midfielder has been averaging 3.1 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 4.9 ball recoveries per game in the English top-flight.
His recent performances have caught the attention of Bayern who are planning to sign him this summer, per The Sun.
The Bavarians spent a record transfer fee to seal a move for Harry Kane in the previous summer window.
The 30-year-old’s performances have been excellent in Germany, but the club have endured a disappointing 2023-24 campaign.
They missed out on the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen and recently suffered Champions League elimination at the hands of Real Madrid.
The German giants will be looking to reinforce their midfield as they aim to make a comeback next term.
But Wharton has a contract in South London until 2029 and is expected to cost them a whopping £60m.
