According to Fabrizio Romano (via @MiaSanMia), Stade Rennes winger Désiré Doué is leaning towards moving to Bayern Munich rather than Paris Saint-Germain.
The transfer saga involving Doué has changed course a number of times throughout the summer transfer window. However, the end appears to finally be in sight.
It is understood that Der Rekordmeister have taken a small advantage over the Parisians in the race to sign the 19-year-old.
As stated in the report, Bayern have been pushing to agree a fee with Rennes more than PSG over the course of the past week, and these efforts have been greatly appreciated by the winger.
Nevertheless, the French champions have not yet been ruled out of the picture.
Doué has still yet to give his final decision, and with the teenager representing France at the Olympic games, a decision is not expected to arrive from the players’ side until after the final, should France overcome Egypt in the semi-final stage.
But, as it stands, a move to Bavaria is more likely.
