Bayern Munich are interested in signing Dani Ceballos. According to Relevo, the Real Madrid midfielder is one of the first options the German side are considering for next season, as his performances in recent weeks have convinced Julian Nagelsmann.
The German coach believes that Ceballos’ profile blends perfectly with players like Joshua Kimmich and Jamal Musiala. Nagelsmann has long admired Spanish players and in the past, he has demonstrated this by asking RB Leipzig to sign Dani Olmo, a player who adapted well to what he was looking for. He believes the same could happen with Ceballos.
At the moment there has been no direct contact between the parties or formal offer. The main reason is that the German club are at a crucial point in their season and Real Madrid are also at a key point, with their Champions League clash against Liverpool on Tuesday.
Ceballos has said time and again that his desire is to succeed at the Bernabéu. It is worth remembering that his contract expires at the end of the season and since 1 January he has been free to negotiate with any club.
