Bayern Munich eyeing move for Bradley Barcola

Bayern Munich are pursuing a move for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, according to Sky Germany.

The 22‑year‑old burst onto the scene three seasons ago during his time at Lyon, after which he moved to the Parc des Princes in 2023 for €45 million.

While he lost his place in the starting XI towards the end of the 2024-25 campaign, Barcola played a key role en route to PSG’s treble last time out, where he racked up 21 goals and 18 assists across all competitions.

Combining devastating pace with incredible athleticism and trickery, Barcola is a superstar in the making, and it is no surprise he is now a wanted man by Bayern.

The Bavarians have placed Barcola at the top of their transfer candidates for the left-wing position, although a deal is considered difficult at this stage.

Bayern are actively seeking reinforcement in attack to complement their current squad and were frontrunners to sign Florian Wirtz earlier in the window before he prioritised a move to Liverpool.

Vincent Kompany’s side have Nico Williams as their leading alternative should their pursuit of Barcola fail, while Kaoru Mitoma, Rafael Leao and Cody Gakpo are also of interest.

Meanwhile, Bayern remain in negotiations over a new deal for Leroy Sane but may have to accept defeat given the winger is wanted by Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Arsenal.

Nonetheless, Sane is expected to be on the plane when Bayern head to the United States for the upcoming Club World Cup ahead of the expiration of his contract on June 30.

A short-term solution is reportedly being worked upon that will keep Sane at Bayern until the end of the tournament.
