Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Bayern Munich have officially opened talks with Harry Kane over a new contract.
As confirmed by the Bavarians’ director of sport Max Eberl: “We are in talks with Harry.” A new deal until 2028 or 2029 is expected.
Kane is more than willing to extend his contract. He loves the club, the fans and the city and is not thinking about a move away.
Meanwhile, Bayern have not set an official deadline for Dayot Upamecano, but they want a decision soon – ideally by Deadline Day.
Eberl also touched on the French defender’s situation earlier today: “We are waiting for a response from Upamecano.”
A final offer is on the table and will not be improved by Bayern – the club’s bosses remain optimistic that he will sign in the near future.
