Bayern Munich are said to have made contact over the possible signing of Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Manu Koné.

According to Bild, the Bavarians are in talks with Kone’s representatives.

The German champions are said to be closely monitoring the situation surrounding the Frenchman, whose contract with Gladbach expires in 2025.

If he’s not interested in extending his contract, Die Fohlen are likely to cash in on him next summer.

Bayern were linked with Kone last summer, as were Liverpool, but a long-term knee injury ended the speculation.

The 22-year-old recently returned from injury and has made two appearances for Gladbach so far this season.

In total, he has made 62 appearances for the club, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
