Sky Germany have confirmed that Bayern Munich have identified Nathan De Cat as a long term option for the future at the club.
The midfielder is still under contract with RSC Anderlecht until 2027 and has made a total of 26 professional appearances to date.
De Cat is even expected to join the Belgian national team in the upcoming knockout phase of the U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
Bayern Munich’s chief squad planners, Max Eberl and Christoph Freund, are said to have declared the player as a priority transfer target.
According to Sky, other top clubs have also taken notice of De Cat, including Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen.
BVB are aware of the German record champions’ interest who they see as a successor to Leon Goretzka in the middle third.
