RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer is reportedly set to join Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
According to Sport Bild, the German champions have an agreement in place with the 25-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer of 2023.
Bayern already showed interest in Laimer last summer, and the Austrian international has admitted he would have liked to join the Bavarians.
“I was ready to make the move in the summer,” Laimer told Servus TV a few months ago.
“It was very close, but I didn’t get the green light from Leipzig. On the one hand, it’s nice because I’m an important player. On the other hand, it’s difficult, because you think a lot. But I’ve come to terms with it. Life goes on.
“One of the best clubs in the world don’t come knocking for you every summer. But you can’t change it now anyway.”
