Bayern Munich have received a timely injury boost ahead of Wednesday night’s DFB-Pokal clash with 1. FC Magdeburg at the Allianz Arena.
According to Sky Germany, Aleksandar Pavlovic is set to return to the squad for the cup tie after missing the weekend’s Bundesliga fixture against SC Freiburg.
The Germany international sat out Sunday’s 3-1 victory due to muscular problems, but is now expected to be available for selection.
However, Bayern will still be without several key players, with Joshua Kimmich (bereavement in the family), Luis Diaz (muscle tear), Jamal Musiala (muscle fibre tear), Manuel Neuer (foot tendon irritation) and Bara Sapoko Ndiaye (appendix surgery) all ruled out.
Meanwhile, Kim Min-jae remains a doubt after missing the win over Freiburg due to a knock.
