Bayern Munich have given an injury update on Dayot Upamecano.
The German champions have announced today that the French defender suffered a muscle injury in his left hamstring during Sunday’s 3-0 win over Freiburg.
Bayern haven’t given a timeframe for Upamecano’s recovery, only stating that he is “out of action for the time being”.
On the positive side for Bayern, Matthijs de Ligt returned to running training on Tuesday after a spell on the sidelines.
The 24-year-old has played in all of Bayern’s games this season, with the exception of the DFB-Pokal win over Preussen-Münster.
