Bayern Munich have explained why Minjae Kim, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Noussair Mazraoui are not in the squad to face FC Copenhagen.
Bayern Munich will be without Minjae Kim, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Noussair Mazraoui for tonight’s Champions League match against FC Copenhagen.
The trio missed Bayern’s last training session before the game, and none of them has been deemed fit enough to be included in the squad.
As confirmed by the German champions, Kim is suffering from a bruised hip, Choupo-Moting is out with a knee problem, while Mazraoui is ill.
With Kim out, Leon Goretzka starts at centre-back, while Laimer plays on the right side of defense in Mazraoui’s absence.
Raphael Guerreiro starts alongside Kimmich in central midfield, with Thomas Muller and Mathys Tel also in the lineup, which looks like this:
Neuer – Laimer, Upamecano, Goretzka, Davies – Kimmich, Guerreiro – Coman, Müller, Tel – Kane.
