Lucas Hernandez has undergone surgery after suffering a cruciate ligament rupture.

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Lucas Hernandez has gone under the knife after suffering a cruciate ligament rupture in France’s World Cup opener against Australia.
Lucas Hernández was successfully operated on by Prof. Christian Fink in Innsbruck on Thursday evening after rupturing his cruciate ligament in his right knee,” said the German champions in a statement.
“The FC Bayern defender will commence his rehabilitation in Munich in the coming days.”
26-year-old Hernandez has featured 13 times for Bayern this season, providing a goal and an assist.
