Bayer Leverkusen are looking to sign Sevilla centre-back Loic Bade to strengthen their backline, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The German club recently lost Jonathan Tah to Bayern Munich and desperately need a solid replacement.
Bade has impressed over the last two years and earned admiration within the Leverkusen set-up.
Club officials believe the Frenchman’s style fits well with Ten Hag’s system and philosophy of playing from the back.
Leverkusen are now expected to open talks with Sevilla in the coming days to explore a possible transfer.
Bade is not the only defender on Leverkusen’s wishlist

Bade recently featured for France in their 2-0 win over Germany, which sealed third place in the 2024/25 Nations League.
His solid display followed a strong showing last summer, where he helped France reach the Olympic final against Spain.
The former Rennes defender has built a reputation for his calmness on the ball, sharp awareness and strength in aerial duels.
He often plays a key role in starting attacks from defence and consistently earns his coaches’ trust to handle tricky forwards.
Leverkusen are also monitoring Liverpool’s Jarell Quansah in a separate move to add more depth to their defence.
Quansah has earned admiration for his composure and physical ability. Both players fit into Ten Hag’s long-term plan to build a more dynamic defensive unit at Leverkusen.
The club have not submitted formal offers yet, but they are expected to advance talks soon.
