
17-year-old forward Aleksa Damjanovic will join Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season.
Bayer Leverkusen have announced that 17-year-old striker Aleksa Damjanovic will join the club from Serbian giants Crvena Zvezda in the summer.
Without revealing the exact length of his contract, Die Werkself confirmed that the youngster has signed a long-term deal.
“Aleksa Damjanovic is one of the most promising forward talents in Europe,” said Bayer 04 managing director for sport Simon Rolfes.
“He is very keen to learn and hungry for success. We are delighted to have him here at Bayer 04 from the summer.”
Damjanovic, who has featured seven times for Crvena Zvezda’s first team, said:
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to develop and improve at a top club like Bayer 04. It’s exactly the right situation for me to move abroad in the summer. I’m highly motivated to assert myself here at Leverkusen.”
