La Liga champions Barcelona have secured a deal for a fresh addition to the club’s youth team setup.
This comes amid confirmation of the Blaugrana having tied up an agreement with Norwich City, over the signing of Ajay Tavares.
The name of youngster Tavares had long emerged as a prominent one in the media headlines surrounding Barcelona.
Building for himself a reputation as one of English football’s next breakthrough young talents, the starlet was earmarked as a transfer target by a number of leading clubs from across the continent.
It was the Blaugrana, though, who were labelled as the frontrunners to strike a deal, owing chiefly to Tavares’ keenness on the move.
And as alluded to above, late this week, the Camp Nou brass have landed their man.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano, 16-year-old winger Tavares is primed to fly out to Spain this weekend, to pen terms with Barcelona.
