Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal was on Wednesday put through a check-up by the Spanish national team’s doctors.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who have also provided some much-needed context to the situation.
Wide-man Lamine is for his part of course fresh off a scintillating opening to the new campaign.
Across Barcelona’s first four outings of the term, the 17-year-old has been in nothing short of irresistible form, giving rise to a goal and four assists in four La Liga appeatances.
Safe to say, then, that those of a Blaugrana persuasion will no doubt be concerned by news of Lamine being subjected to a round of medical tests.
The attacker is currently away on international duty with Spain, ahead of upcoming Nations League fixtures against Serbia and Switzerland.
And, as showcased in the footage below, on Wednesday, Lamine was in attendance at La Roja’s medical centre.
As per the aforementioned El Chiringuito TV:
‘Lamine Yamal had a medical check-up previously agreed between the National Team and Barça.’
This comes after the teenage sensation finished Barcelona’s La Liga drubbing of Real Valladolid over the weekend dealing with unspecified ‘discomfort’.
In news which will give rise to a collective sigh of relief on the part of the Blaugrana faithful, though, it is concluded that ‘he has no injuries’.
