FC Barcelona will not trigger the option to make Adama Traoré’s transfer permanent, as per Fabrizio Romano.
Adama joined Barça on loan from Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers in January with an option to buy for €30 million. However, it seems like the Catalan giants are not willing to spend big on the winger.
Adama, renowned for his explosive pace and dribbling ability, had a bright start to his Barça loan tenure, but his minutes have faded in recent weeks with an upturn in form for Ousmane Dembélé. The Spanish winger has contributed four assists during his six-month stay, two in La Liga and two in the Europa League.
Traoré will return to Wolves this summer, with whom his contract runs till 2023.
