The Barcelona vs Osasuna match will not be played. A tragic news has hit the Blaugrana coaching staff. The club has announced the death of Carles Minarro, assistant to Ricard Pruna. Therefore, the club requested the postponement of the match. At 20:40, Barcelona officially announced, through the stadium’s loudspeakers and by means of a statement, that the match would not be played.
Tragic news has hit the Barcelona family and the Catalans asked that the match against Osasuna not be played. The two teams arrived as normal at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys and even took to the pitch to warm up, but everything quickly stopped and the players returned to the dressing room.
Carles Minarro passed away this afternoon. The doctor began working at the club in 2017. Before joining Barcelona, he worked as an assistant doctor in the Sports Care and Prevention Unit at the Centre d’Alt Rendiment de San Cugat. He had also been in the medical services of Centre d’Esports Sabadell.
