According to Sky Germany, La Liga giants FC Barcelona are keen to lure Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson to Spain.
The report states that initial talks between the player’s representatives and the Catalan club have already taken place.
Furthermore, the Westphalians are said to be willing to let the 28-year-old leave should a suitable offer be received.
The Catalan club is on the hunt for a cost-effective backup for Jules Koundé and sense the Norwegian would fit that profile perfectly.
It remains unclear whether Hansi Flick’s team will make a move for Ryerson in the upcoming winter transfer window or next summer.
Ryerson, who is under contract with Dortmund until 2028, arrived from 1.FC Union Berlin in January 2023 for a €5million fee.
He has since played 121 competitive matches for the Black and Yellows, scoring seven goals and providing eleven assists.
