Leading figures at Spanish football’s two biggest clubs have been included in the statistical best XI from the latest round of fixtures in the Nations League.
That’s according to statisticians WhoScored, who have on Wednesday unveiled their best-performing line-up from the latest international break.
From Real Madrid, captain Luka Modrić makes the cut in the middle of the park, after a match-winning display in Croatia’s narrow victory over Poland.
Turning attentions towards Barcelona, meanwhile, and Ferran Torres’ endeavours against Switzerland are aptly recognised.
The versatile attacker was introduced off the bench by Spain boss Luis de la Fuente, and went on to prove himself the driving force in a 4-1 win, courtesy of a goal, and an assist.
Elsewhere in the line-up, familiar faces feature in the form of another Spanish international, in Fabián Ruiz, and ex-Real Madrid frontman Joselu.
Rounding out the attack is one-time Barcelona wide-man Ousmane Dembélé, whilst Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes joins Modrić and Fabián in a star-studded midfield.
Also featuring are the likes of Nuno Mendes and Josip Šutalo, with WhoScored’s XI, in full, showcased below:
