Former Barcelona star Gerard Piqué has late tonight taken to social media, to reveal his delight with the latest showing put forth by the Blaugrana.
Hansi Flick’s troops are of course fresh off a victory to remember…
After welcoming German heavyweights Bayern Munich to Catalunya’s capital, Barcelona ultimately emerged on the right side of a 4-1 result.
Raphinha proved himself the star of the show, notching a wonderful hat-trick, with Robert Lewandowski having added the hosts’ other goal, his 15th of the campaign.
Result aside, the stellar nature of Barca’s performance has since been widely hailed by fans, the media and neutrals alike.
And, as alluded to above, adding his name to the list of the Blaugrana’s appreciators a short time ago, was none other than club legend Gerard Piqué.
Taking to his official ‘X’ account, ex-defender Piqué re-posted the club’s victory post, alongside a simple ‘love-heart eyes’ caption:
