The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona are giving consideration to a January move for Cádiz talent José Antonio De la Rosa.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing El Desmarque, who have on Monday provided an insight into the situation.
Barcelona, it is understood, are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements for the club’s reserve outfit with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
This comes amid what has proven a challenging term to date for Albert Sánchez’s Barca Atlètic.
De la Rosa, despite being held in high regard across the Spanish football landscape, has found game time tough to come by with Cádiz this season.
Barcelona’s idea, in turn, would be to bring the 20-year-old in on loan, in a bid to both add to their own attacking ranks, and afford De la Rosa a much-needed uptick in minutes.
A proposal on the part of the Blaugrana is being considered for the days ahead.
