La Liga giants Barcelona are closing on a transfer deal for Club Brugge starlet Jesse Bisiwu.
This comes amid an ongoing push on the part of the Camp Nou brass to add to the club’s attacking options at reserve level.
Bisiwu, for his part, is an 18-year-old winger, who chiefly operates on the left, but is also capable of taking to the pitch from the right.
The Belgian youth international is currently plying his club trade on the books of the aforementioned Club Brugge.
Bisiwu’s talents – he has long been hailed for a stellar blend of speed and technical ability – have given rise to transfer interest from across the continent.
And as alluded to above, this weekend, one such suitor appear to have taken the lead in the race for his signature.
As per a report from Marca transfer insider Matteo Moretto:
‘Barcelona continue to look to the future and are close to signing Jesse Bisiwu, the left winger from Club NXT’ (Brugge’s reserve team).
The operation comes with a view to the youngster arriving in Catalunya’s capital in a low-cost transfer in the summer.
