Barcelona and Atletico Madrid compete to sign out-of-favour PSG defender Danilo Pereira

Having spent heavily once again in this window, notably bringing in João Neves, Désiré Doué and Willian Pacho for considerable fees, Paris Saint-Germain are now working on outgoings between now and the closure of the window.

Manuel Ugarte is the big-money departure. The Uruguay international is on the verge of a €60m move to Manchester United, just one year after joining PSG for the same fee from Sporting. Departures in the defence are expected too. There are discussions regarding a move to Saudi Arabia for Milan Skriniair, who like Ugarte, only joined the club last year.

Danilo Pereira is another player that Les Parisiens are looking to offload. The Portugal international has been used in rotation the past two seasons, however, he has been part of the infamous “loft” this summer, and he no longer figures in Luis Enrique’s plans.

However, he is not short of suitors. According to Fabrice Hawkins, Danilo is a target for La Liga giants Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, as well as Porto.
