The powers that be at La Liga giants Barcelona have added a fresh name to their shortlist of centre-forward targets.
That’s according to Cadena SER, who point towards Benjamin Šeško as the player in question.
Frontman Sesko has for his part long been making a name for himself as one of the premiere up-and-coming attackers in the game.
After racking up 18 goals across all competitions in the colours of RB Leipzig last season, the 21-year-old has since followed up with a further 12 (and three assists) to this point in the current campaign.
And such exploits, coupled with Sesko’s long list of impressive technical attributes, have evidently piqued the attentions of those behind the scenes at the aforementioned Barcelona.
It is of course common knowledge across Spain at this point that Barca are on the lookout for long-term reinforcements up top, ahead of Robert Lewandowski turning 37 in the summer.
The likes of Alexander Isak, Erling Haaland and Viktor Gyökeres have in turn all been tipped as potential arrivals at the Camp Nou.
And as per SER, on the program Què T’hi Jugues, Sesko is now also being closely watched by Deco and co. with a view to a potential future bid for the Slovenian.
