SportBild reports that Augsburg have made it known to Mergim Berisha that they will not stand in his way if he wishes to leave in the summer.
Now, several clubs in Germany and from abroad are interested in the 25-year-old. Any offers for Berisha could be in the region of €15m-20m.
Augsburg have a buy option in their loan agreement with Fenerbahce of €4m for Berisha but they have yet to activate it. The club have previously announced their intention to do so, but at the moment there is still no official confirmation.
Berisha has been one of Augsburg’s standout players this season having scored nine and assisted four in 23 appearances. His form earned him a first-time call-up to the senior Germany national team for the March internationals where he made two substitute appearances against Peru and Belgium.
Augsburg are currently 14th in the Bundesliga, one point from safety and can potentially drop into the relegation zone if Bochum and VfB Stuttgart both win on the final day of the season.
