Departing Mainz 05 goalkeeper Finn Dahmen is apparently set to join FC Augsburg.
According to the Augsburger Allgemeine, Dahmen is expected to be unveiled as a new Augsburg player today alongside Patric Pfeiffer, who will join the club from Darmstadt on a free transfer.
Mainz announced a few weeks ago that Dahmen will leave the club at the end of his contract.
The 25-year-old, who has been behind Robin Zentner in the pecking order for several seasons, reportedly had several offers on the table.
Dahmen is expected to be Augsburg’s new first-choice goalkeeper following the departure of Rafal Gikiewicz.
