Augsburg have confirmed that Patric Pfeiffer is joining Young Boys on loan.
After struggling for regular playing time in his first season at Augsburg, Patric Pfeiffer has been loaned out to Young Boys.
Augsburg confirmed on Wednesday that the center back, who joined the club from Darmstadt last summer, will spend the coming season on loan at the Swiss club.
“Last season, Patric was able to see his first minutes in the Bundesliga. He has everything needed in order to take up an important role at FCA. Following constructive talks with all those involved, we arrived at the mutual conclusion that a loan to an ambitious club competing in Europe where Patric will be able to play regularly, would make the most sense for both parties,” said Augsburg sporting director Marinko Jurendic.
“The aim is for Patric to gather experience playing at a high level for Young Boys, as well as featuring in Europe. We wish him all the best for a successful and good time at BSC Young Boys.”
