Serie A side Atalanta are currently staying firm in their valuation of midfielder Teun Koopmeiners despite his insistence about joining Juventus.
The Dutchman has refused to train for La Dea as he wants the Juve move, having presented a medical certificate as well to the club. But Juve are yet to meet Atalanta’s asking price.
La Gazzetta dello Sport state that Juve haven’t made any progress about their move, with La Dea firm in their valuation of 60 million. Having said that, neither Juve nor Koopmeiners have given up any hope about the move to the Turin giants this summer.
Juve feel that them waiting will help, because as time goes by, Atalanta will feel pressured to sell a player who obviously isn’t happy to be there and isn’t willing to train with them. Juve do not want to go beyond €50 million and bonuses that are linked to qualification to European competitions.
