With plenty of interest circulating around the 19 year-old Italian international, Atalanta have set their price-tag for the promising central defender Giorgio Scalvini.
Since graduating from La Dea’s youth academy, the rising star has established himself as fine centre-back quite quickly. So far this season, Scalvini has established himself as a regular within Gasperini’s squad, amassing eleven appearances out of the first 15 matches of the Serie A.
His ability to build out of the back with his left foot and his impeccable tactical awareness has caught the eye of numerous European giants, forcing Atalanta to react quickly.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Tuttomercatoweb, Atalanta have set a hefty €40m price-tag for the 19 year-old defender ahead of the winter market.
While Serie A giants Inter and Juventus are monitoring closely, foreign clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich are also eager to seize one of the most promising defenders across Europe at the very moment.
