Atalanta make offer for Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams

Serie A side Atalanta are interested in Nottingham Forest’s Neco Williams and have made an offer for the former Liverpool man.

La Dea play a vital Super Cup Final against Real Madrid in about three days and they are very much interested in signing new players.

Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Williams, who was previously at Liverpool, is now a target for Atalanta. They made a formal offer for him, but it was rejected by Forest and La Dea had put forward a fee of about €20 million but it was pegged back by the English side.

In the meantime, Atalanta also have an interest in Flamengo’s Wesley and have made an attempt for him too, with the player also linked with a Premier League move.

Williams had, last season, made 26 appearances and had one assist. In the 2022/23 season, he had played 31 times and he has a lot of Premier League appearances.
