Aston Villa are interested in signing Álex Moreno, reports Matteo Moretto from Relevo.
Unai Emery is looking for a new left-back to bring to the Premier League and he has set his eye on the 29-year-old Real Betis player.
While the English side are yet to make a formal offer, it is believed that the club have already established contact with the full-back’s representatives.
Last summer Moreno was linked with a move to Nottingham Forest. The two sides agreed on a transfer fee of £9m at the time, but the player chose to stay in Andalucía as he wanted to continue being part of the project at Real Betis.
Los Verdiblancos will not accept an offer below €15m as he is an important member of Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
Moreno arrived to the Estadio Benito Villamarín from Rayo Vallecano in 2019. He was part of the Real Betis side that won the Copa del Rey in 2022.
