As reported by The Athletic, Aston Villa are considering a move for Luis Suárez.
The Uruguayan striker recently explained on El Larguero that he has had many offers, including from clubs in South America, but he prefers to stay in Europe ahead of the 2022 World Cup.
The 35-year-old has been in regular contact with Villa manager Steven Gerrard and is available on a free transfer following his departure from Atlético Madrid.
According to The Athletic’s report, Villa are holding out on making a decision until they know which other forward players can leave Villa Park.
