Supporters of La Liga giants Barcelona have on Saturday evening revealed a collective stance of disappointment.
This comes after Inter Milan were dispatched of in nothing short of historic fashion in the finale of the Champions League.
After making the trip to Munich for a showpiece meeting with French champions Paris Saint-Germain, Simone Inzaghi’s troops were condemned to the heaviest-ever defeat in the competition’s final, downed by five goals to nil.
Inter, to book their spot in the Allianz Arena showdown, sent the aforementioned Barcelona packing at the semi-final stage, courtesy of a remarkable comeback.
And safe to say, the nature of the Nerazzurri’s defeat on Saturday has not been at all lost on those of a Blaugrana persuasion.
Many, in fact, have taken to social media, to reveal their ‘shame’ with the fact that Hansi Flick’s troops were put to the sword by a side who went on to collapse in such spectacular fashion when it mattered most.
