Arsenal are willing to pay up to £100million for RB Leipzig star Christopher Nkunku if recent reports are to be believed.
Former Gunners boss Unai Emery was said to be a huge fan of Nkunku during his time at the Emirates Stadium but a move for the Frenchman never materialised. Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with a summer move for the 24-year-old in recent times and football.london understands that the Blues do indeed hold an interest.
Now, the Independent have reported that Leipzig have set a price for Nkunku at £100million whilst the player would prefer to stay with the Bundesliga side this summer. However, the same report goes on to say that Arsenal, along with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain would be willing to pay 9 figures for the talented attacker – a deal that would smash the Gunners’ current record of £72million.

The former PSG playmaker enjoyed an excellent 2021/22 campaign, netting a whopping 35 goals and providing a further 14 assists across all competitions. He has also made it no secret of his love for Paris, potentially meaning a return to former club PSG could be on the cards.
“Paris is my home, my favourite club. I don’t close any doors,” Nkunku told via the Daily Mirror. “Everything is possible in football.
“It’s nice to have the biggest clubs in the world interested in me. But it’s also great to see that Leipzig are doing everything to keep me.”
