Arsenal want to beat Saudi Pro League club in the race to sign Bayern Munich star

Arsenal are keen on signing Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Kingsley Coman ahead of the summer transfer deadline on Friday night, according to the Daily Mail.

The Gunners want to strengthen their squad to further boost their chances of winning the Premier League title, and the 28-year-old Frenchman has emerged as a target.

However, Arsenal face competition for Coman from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, and convincing him to join them could be tricky.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward currently earns around £300,000 per week at the Bundesliga club, and Arsenal could struggle to meet his personal demands.

Riyad Mahrez and Sadio Mane earn double Coman’s salary in Saudi Arabia, and moving there could be appealing after a successful spell in European football.

Coman has won 11 league titles with PSG, Juventus and Bayern. He also has Champions League title to his name.

The Gunners are challenging for the Premier League title again after finishing behind Manchester City in each of the last two seasons, and moving to England could be an option Coman wants to consider.

The France international has bagged 64 goals and 66 assists in 296 games for the Germans, and he would be a superb acquisition for Arsenal.
